Job description

The salary for this position is: $7,891 - $10,379 monthly. Thurston County Public Health & Social Services (PHSS) is recruiting for a Nurse Manager for our Disease Control & Prevention (DCP) Division. In this vital leadership role, you will oversee a division of approximately 10 staff and ensure the success of multiple programs through strategic planning, effective staff management, and strong fiscal oversight. You will manage complex budgets with diverse funding streams, navigate contracts and grants, and ensure compliance with reporting requirements, while leading a team dedicated to investigating and managing cases of communicable diseases and sexually transmitted infections. You’ll also shape the future of the program by setting impactful goals, providing technical expertise and training, and building strong community partnerships.
