Our office, Southwest Florida Oral Surgery - Fort Myers in Fort Myers, FL is seeking an Biller to join our busy specialty practice. As an Biller, you are responsible for ensuring accurate and timely submission of insurance claims, effective follow-up on outstanding balances, and proper posting of insurance payments. Your Responsibilities: As one of the essential members of our office, you will also help to facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed. - Submit dental claims accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with payer policies and CDT coding guidelines - Follow up on unpaid or denied claims, resolve billing discrepancies, and submit appeals as needed - Accurately post insurance payments and adjustments, reconciling ERAs and EOBs - Monitor accounts receivable reports and take proactive steps to reduce outstanding balances - Collaborate with insurance companies, dental practices, and patients to address and resolve billing-related issues - Verify patient insurance and eligibility when needed to ensure clean claims - Stay current on insurance plan updates, payer requirements, and billing best practices - support audits, system updates, and complia...
