Position Summary Experience the Rogue River Valley as part of a 4-person crews conducting invasive surveys, invasive control, and native plant materials projects across the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest. Crews will be based near Medford, OR and work on projects in post-fire managed ecosystems within the past 3 years. The crew will work directly with Forest Service Botany staff. Location: Medford, OR: Schedule: June 1, 2026 - August 8, 2026 Key Duties and Responsibilities: Engage as a crew member to promote healthy group dynamics and promote effective and productive teamwork. Serve variable hours (long days and/or weekend), at remote locations, on difficult and hazardous terrain, in varying weather conditions, and under physically demanding circumstances. Live and serve with the same crew for the duration of the season. Use field tools (shovels, Pulaski’s, backpack herbicide sprayers, etc.) to conduct invasives control. Be an active and participatory corps member – attend all training and service days, and participate in weekly chores around the program base and base camp.
