Job Description Summary As a member of the site leadership team, you will be an active contributor to the Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC) goals for the business unit. This role will require you to lead the Steam Turbine cell within the site. The Cell Leader’s job activities include but not limited to scheduling, cost estimating, material management, and directing operations in a shop structure. Job Description: Roles and Responsibilities: - Utilizes lean methodologies to drive SQDC for the Steam Turbine Cell lowering risk and increasing speed of delivery. - Wing to wing management of repair execution including schedules, parts, cost control and management of both hourly and salary employee populations for the Steam Cell. - Implement/improve maturity of daily management, problem solving and visual management. - Advances the department competitiveness through workforce training/development, technology improvements and partnering with sales to understand market trends, pricing strategy and profitability of repairs/improvements required. - Serve as the Americas Repairs coordinator to support load allocation across the Americas network with consideration to load leveling, tech...
