Woodfords Family Services is seeking a casual (16 hours per week) Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Portland, ME! This is an on-site position in a Shared Living Providers Home. Must be comfortable with personal care supports. Position Summary: As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you are a caregiver to adults with autism, developmental disabilities, and/or intellectual disabilities. DSP's work with consumers, their families, and other service providers to promote independence and community inclusion through various daily living skills including: budgeting, meal prep, housekeeping, grocery shopping, decision making, transportation, and personal support. By offering your compassionate support, you assist individuals to be active in their communities and also accompany individuals on outings and activities.
