Nature and Scope The Outpatient Specialist (OPS) is able to perform all tasks of the RHC Patient Access Representative.The OPS coordinates the Rural Health Clinic patient visit summaries and prints orders for any ancillary tests ordered during the visit. Registers patients for same day ancillary tests and initiates the authorization and scheduling process as needed. Provide patients with prep instructions for any tests and discharge instructions at time of check-out. Verify demographic and insurance information for the electronic medical records and billing purposes. Location: Quincy, CA and Indian Valley Medical Clinic, CA Compensation: Compensation Philosophy: - We have 6 pay increments on our clinical pay scales to compensate successful candidate for 6 years of relevant experience Compensation Range: - $20.82- $26.57 / hour Job Status / Shift Information: Full-Time, Benefited: Qualifications: Preferred Experience: - One to three (1-3) years of customer service. - One to two (1-2) years’ experience in a healthcare environment. - Database software applications.
