Job description

Job Purpose or Objective(s): To operate and maintain heavy equipment and perform excavation, land management, and maintenance tasks to support infrastructure, grounds upkeep, and overall operational efficiency in a safe and effective manner. Requirements: Must maintain a valid driver’s license Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, basic repair and maintenance. Mechanically inclined and be able to learn various technical/mechanical requirements of the job Knowledge of mowers, tractors, power tools, cutting torches Medium physical work: exerting 30 to 50 pounds of force Two (2) years of experience in equipment and building maintenance Two (2) years’ experience operating equipment including: forklifts, back hoes, bulldozers, tractors, skid loaders, etc. Must maintain a valid driver’s license Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, basic repair and maintenance.
