Cutting Machine Operator (Mini Shift)

Job description

Schedule & Compensation: - Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM (4‑hour evening shift) - Competitive Wages - Weekly Attendance Bonus available for employees who work all scheduled shifts on time Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Operate the leather or fabric cutting machine efficiently and accurately to cut patterns for sewing. - Load rolls of fabric or leather onto the cutting machine. - Inspect materials for quality, flaws, or defects before running cutting programs. - Accurately cut fabric or leather according to patterns loaded in the cutting system. - Follow all production specifications and quality standards. - Maintain equipment cleanliness and a safe, organized work area. - Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager. Required Qualifications: - Ability to read and use a ruler accurately. - Strong visual accuracy to inspect materials and patterns. - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed. - Experience operating a fabric cutting machine (Gerber Z or similar systems preferred). - Ability to read and understand cutting patterns and yardage requirements. - Quality‑focused with strong attention to detail. - Ability to meet established performance goals in a fast‑paced manufa...
