Family Support Worker (Supported Contact & Transport)

Capability Support was established in 2023 with the simple ethos that we can do better for the community , through providing personalised, flexible, professional and easy-to-access supports. We are on the lookout for a caring, reliable and adaptable person to play an essential role in supporting children, young people and their families to stay connected. As a Supported Contact and Transport Support Worker, your role will include transporting children and young people to and from school, childcare, appointments and family visits in addition to providing a safe and positive environment during supervised contacts. No two days are the same, one day you might be singing along to the radio on the school run and the next, you’re spending the day at the zoo during a family catch-up! Your focus will always be on the safety of the children you support, compassion and professionalism. If you have experience in community services, early/childhood education, or a similar role, you’ll have a head start, but if not, we’ll provide training and support to get you there.
