Overview The Human Resources Generalist provides comprehensive support for the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department at New York Medical College. This position serves as a key contact for faculty, staff and managers, supporting HR operations, and helping to manage HR systems, while also partnering with HR leadership to deliver excellent client service across the organization. The HR Generalist will act as a liaison between employees and HR functional areas, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses to inquiries, and contributing to continuous process improvement within the department. This role combines transactional HR responsibilities with broader generalist duties, including employee relations, communications, and project support. Responsibilities: Employee & Client Support: - Serve as a primary HR contact for employee inquiries, providing accurate information or referring complex issues to the appropriate HR team member. - Provide day-to-day, transactional support for HR technology systems, including user assistance, data updates, and basic troubleshooting.
