Job description

CFM is seeking an experienced and hands-on Supervisor, Machine Shop to oversee our machining operations and support a high-performance team. This role is responsible for ensuring safety is present in all work, daily shop floor leadership, workflow coordination, training, and ensuring production targets are consistently met. - Provide leadership, direction, and support to the machine shop team, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Supervise day-to-day operations of the machine shop, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules. - Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans to enhance team performance and productivity - Promote and ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements in all machine shop activities by conducting regular safety meetings and workplace inspections, - Coordinate machine shop projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management, to meet client deadlines and quality standards. - Oversee setup, operation, and maintenance of machine tools including CNC and manual equipment.
