About Us : The Heike McKinney Laboratory is at the forefront of investigating clinical outcomes in children born with a cleft lip and/or palate and applying informatics and data science approaches to improving clinical care for affected families . We are dedicated to advancing clinical practice through generating new knowledge applying epidemiologic, health sciences, mixed methods and data science approaches to facilitate the understanding of feeding, nutrition and growth in children born with a cleft . We are also at the forefront of developing a global learning health network so craniofacial teams can learn from each other and adopt practices that improve care for all chil d ren with a cleft. Responsibilities : The successful candidate will contribute to our ongoing research endeavors by: - Developing scientific skills commensurate with the post-doctoral level - Preparation and submission of manuscripts - Respond to reviewers and submit revised manuscripts getting manuscripts to finish line - Analyze and write code for analysis for publications - Preparing and submitting abstracts - Presenting at local, regional and national conferences - Conducting research and development activ...
