We are seeking a Safety Engineer who is passionate about creating safe, high-performing environments on complex job sites. This role plays a critical part in implementing XLI’s safety programs and fostering a proactive culture of risk awareness and compliance. Responsibilities: - Assist and support the Director of Safety and Risk Management in executing XLI’s safety policies and procedures with the purpose of preventing accidents and injuries. - Conduct daily job site safety inspections, addressing unsafe conditions and work practices. - Oversee and support safety program implementation at the project level. - Lead or attend weekly site safety meetings and subcontractor pre-task planning sessions. - Stay current on safety best practices and maintain certifications in hazardous material remediation, confined space entry, fall protection, electrical safety, and PPE....
