Job description

The Mixer is responsible for ensuring that all mixes and grinds meet acceptable quality, yield standards and are in line with the production schedule. This role oversees that all ingredients and materials are correct based on product specifications. They must be able to prepare batches per the specified guidelines and production schedule. This role maintains accurate reporting and documentation of the mixing process in writing and via the company’s ERP system. Duties and Responsibilities: - Food Safety & Safety: Always perform tasks according to Safety and Food Safety Standards. - Participate in safety training programs and contribute to the development of safety initiatives to promote a culture of safety. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (SQF, GMP, HACCP, OSHA) and company policies and trainings related to food safety, sanitation, and environmental regulations (e.g., HACCP, Food Safety, GMP’s, Food Fraud/Defense, Allergens, Organic, Gluten Free) - Reports equipment malfunctions and assures that the preventive maintenance program is effective and meets production needs. - Ensures compliance of LOTO procedures. - Must follow the production schedule and stay on track;...
