Directing Area Sales efforts to maximize both volume and contribution levels. Consciously establishes a culture that encourages customer focus, individual development, knowledge transfer, efficiency, collaboration, and creates an environment for process improvements. Upholds and ensures that all Hapag-Lloyd policies and procedures are followed and maintained. Operational management: - Responsible for managing all sales matters related to the Area - Drive and direct the sales organization to achieve all targets set for the Area - Collaborate with the management teams in other departments to improve customer experience - Liaise whenever required with the sales management teams in other Areas - Safeguards cost efficiency by reducing imbalances through optimizing container flows - Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring that volume and revenue projections align with company objectives - Analyze competition activity and market developments that may have an impact - Participate in and support Global, Regional and local sales projects - Develop strategies for growth with target and key customers - Identify potential new customers in line with company strategy - Build and main...
