Mortgage Loan Specialist II is responsible for one or more of the following duties: sends out closing instructions to closing agents, prepares closing disclosures, and funds loans; accepts lock requests from Mortgage Loan Officers and locks loans with investors; gathers, verifies and compiles application information for a mortgage loan, ensuring that the file documentation and data is complete and meets established guidelines. Bilingual (Spanish-speaking): Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Acts as a liaison between the borrower, loan officer, underwriter, and loan closer. - Collects required documents from applicants and follows up on missing items. - Orders and reviews appropriate documents to ensure all paperwork is complete for loan. - Checks appropriate data programs for accuracy and completeness of information. - Accepts lock requests from MLOs, reviews for compliance with current pricing model, locks loans with Investors and obtains management approval for variances if needed. - Works with MLO in expiring locks and for...
