The Activities Assistant supports the planning and implementation of a diverse activity program aimed at addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of residents. Pay Range: $19-$22 per hour, based on experience. Flexible Hours!: PRINCIPAL DUTIES Essential Job Duties: - Assist in planning and coordinating activities, including reality orientation, current events, discussion groups, sensory stimulation, cultural activities, religious services, special entertainment, outings, special events, and one-on-one visits. - Help prepare and distribute the monthly calendar and newsletter. - Assist in purchasing supplies for activities as needed. - Distribute mail to residents daily. - Direct the movement of residents to and from recreational areas. - Announce scheduled activities over the intercom at least fifteen minutes prior to the activity. - Coordinate and supervise volu...
