Job description

We are currently seeking a Program Aide to join our intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services (IDD) division working at the Adult Training Facility in Hummelstown, PA . Earn up to $19/hour with the election of the Enhanced Pay Option. The duties of a Program Aide involve direct care and program assistance in assigned area. Direction is provided by the Program Instructor. Work is supervised by the Program Director. - Assist the participants with skills of daily living such as toileting, eating and other personal hygiene. - Direction is provided by the program instructor in designated areas. - Program Aide acts as the lead in the absence of the program instructor. - Document participants daily attendance. Implements goal plans and provides guidance in social, recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities. - Assist participants on skill building out in the community/Drive company vehicles. - Keep storage areas and work areas clean and properly arranged. - Assist with documentation responsibilities as requested. - Perform special assignments as directed and related work as required.
