IV. A. Responsibilities/Essential Functions: 1.) "Provides superior customer service to internal and external clients, customers, and patients as referenced in the Service Excellence Standards." Performs all the duties of a staff Radiologic Technologist. Attends in-service lectures, seminars relating to Mammography and maintains documentation of specialized training in compliance with state and federal regulations. Participates in the development and evaluation of policies and procedures concerning Mammography. Assists in the orientation of Technologists to Mammography. Monitors daily quality control program specific to Mammography Quality Standards Act, DPH, and ACR guidelines. Performs daily testing on Mammography equipment. Reports problems to Technical Manager and/or Radiology Engineer. Obtains patient's prior Mammograms, records, and reports for comparison. Maintain log of patients undergoing Mammographic procedures, log must include patient's name, date of procedure, description of procedure, and referring physician. Must also maintain a call back post card file to remind patients for follow up care consistent with Radiologist's recommendation. Assists radiologist to perform...
