Job Summar y: Support new first-year and transfer students in navigating their transition into and throughout their first year at Ithaca College by fostering inclusive holistic growth, community membership, school pride, and a sense of belonging. This position leads the outreach process and communication strategy for new students as they complete their New Student Checklist prior to attending New Student Orientation in August and January. The Program Coordinator supervises the Orientation student employees including recruitment, selection and training. This position serves as a liaison to other college departments in the creation of these critical support and transition programs for new students and their families/supporters. This position reports to the Associate Director of New Student & Transition Programs (NSTP), a department within the College’s Student Affairs and Campus Life division. Qualifications: Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree and have prior collegiate student leadership experience.
