The Histotechnologist provides a variety of laboratory and histology procedures for the Anatomic Pathology Department. Successfully achieves and maintains competencies in all histology laboratory related skills. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Demonstrates compliance in laboratory safety policies, procedures, and standards. 2. Maintains confidentiality of all materials handled. 3. Demonstrates knowledge and operation of LIS software, computer programs and equipment. 4. Performs routine preventative maintenance and troubleshoots malfunctions on equipment and instrumentation. 5.
