This role supports the Director in guiding programs that promote Virginia agriculture, enhance market opportunities for producers, and strengthen the Commonwealth’s agricultural economy. The Deputy Director will assist in overseeing statewide marketing initiatives, agricultural development programs, domestic and international promotions, and partnerships with producers, industry stakeholders, and economic development organizations. This position plays a key leadership role in advancing the agency’s mission to promote the economic growth and competitiveness of Virginia agriculture.
