Classification Title: Accountant II Classification Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in appropriate areas of specialization and two years of experience. Job Description: The Accountant II plays an important role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the fiscal operations of the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation department. Key Responsibilities Include: The Accountant II works independently in managing fiscal tasks providing indirect oversight of administrative staff through compliance review of reimbursements, reconciliations and financial processes ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies. The normal expected work schedule is 8:00am- 5pm Monday thru Friday, with additional hours as needed for fiscal deadlines or audits. - Developing, tracking, and reconciling departmental budgets - Providing guidance on allowable expenses, purchasing procedures and cost allocations.
