Under the supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) , t he Director of Med ical /Surg ical / PCU has 24-hour responsibility to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of Nursing Care to the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult & geriatric patients. Is qualified to perform the duties of this position by initial education, continuing education and experience. Is responsible for the fiscal & operational management of the Department. The Director of Medical/Surgical/Pediatrics is responsible for completing all duties assigned. Education: Ba chelor of Science in Nursing or actively progressing towards a BSN or related field preferred . Experience: Minimum of t wo (2) years’ clinical and leadership experience preferred. - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required . - Minimum of t hree ( 5 ) years ’ nursing experience required . Required Licensure/Certification(s): Current verification in Basic Life Support. (If BLS verification is not current upon hire must be obtained within three (3) months of hire.)
