Accounting Associate

Job description

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Accounting Associate will be responsible for several accounting support duties related to payroll, budget and data management. The Accounting Associate will support the CFO in the goals of the finance department and will work with AP/Payroll staff, billing staff and grant management to ensure that all financial reporting is accurate and transparent. The accounting Associate will ensure that the Policies and Procedures of EVCHC are followed, and that they support effective program implementation and conduct flawless audits. MAJOR POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS: - Assists with time and effort reporting system, ensuring it is complete and in compliance with applicable regulations; distributes monthly payroll allocation report and prepares and posts biweekly payroll entry. - Ensures that all employee benefits, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, and 403b, and American Express charges are entered on a monthly basis and allocated in accordance with the approved cost allocation plan and annual budget. - Manages all time sheets and supporting documents for the finance department and submits to CFO for signature a...
