BASIC PURPOSE: The Director of Student Engagement is responsible for student leadership development, first-year orientation, campus social and educational programming, Activities Board, and over 40 other clubs and organizations. Reporting to the Vice President for Student Affairs, the Director is a vital member of campus life and contributes to the development of a vibrant co-curricular life within the context of the Catholic mission of the University. Attendance at and participation in campus programs is expected. ACCOUNTABILITIES: 2. Administrative 3. Programming Plan, develop and manage a vibrant and active weekend programming efforts, which includes the hiring, supervising, training, and evaluation of staff. 4. Serve on University committees where needed as a representative of the division of Student Affairs. 5. Serve as a Campus Security Authority for Clery reporting purposes and a Responsible Employee for Title IX reporting purposes. 6. May be assigned other related duties.
