Overview The Department of Biomedical & Translational Sciences at Brock VHS Eastern Virginia Medical School at Old Dominion University seeks qualified applicants for a full-time salaried faculty position as a medical educator at the ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE/FULL level. Based in Norfolk’s historic Ghent neighborhood on an impressive and growing campus with access to a state-of-the-art simulation center, world class hospitals and newly renovated educational facilities, this community based medical school provides ample opportunities for growth for a professional interested in developing their career as a medical educator. The successful candidate will join a collegial department that teaches foundational sciences to our medical, professional and graduate students. There are many opportunities for educational research/scholarship. Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent terminal degree, and experience teaching medical/graduate level classes in anatomical sciences and/or a biomedical discipline.
