Staff Accountant (Onsite)

Job description

This full-time opportunity pays $28-$31 based on experience. The position is fully onsite, Monday through Friday, with some weekends and holidays needed depending on current occupancy and staffing levels. POSITION SUMMARY: The Staff Accountant will prepare and maintain financial records to track the organizations assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities at Nemacolin. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all-inclusive for this position.) - Support timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of all GL accounts - Performs general ledger account reconciliations, verify accuracy of data, and report, identify, and correct errors made by both internal and external personnel - Maintain and update records and reports for profit and loss, taxes, liabilities, and asset - Produce daily/monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting. - Prepare special financial reports as requested by management...
