The Reimbursement Analyst supports the preparation, analysis, and optimization of reimbursement across Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers. This role assists in cost report preparation, net revenue analysis, and regulatory compliance while developing a foundational understanding of healthcare reimbursement methodologies. This role is designed to build technical expertise in reimbursement, cost reporting, and financial analytics within a complex health system. Job Description: Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to: - Assist in the preparation of Medicare and Medicaid cost reports (e.g., HCRIS submissions, supporting schedules) - Compile and validate data used in cost reports, including statistics, trial balance mapping, and adjustments - Support audit requests and documentation for Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) - Maintain working knowledge of CMS reimbursement rules and regulatory changes - Support monthly and quarterly net patient service revenue (NPSR) analysis - Assist in variance analysis (actual vs. budget vs. prior year)...
