We are seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to support our Colors business in the St. Louis area. In this role, you will partner with plant and manufacturing teams to support their goals, provide data driven recommendations, and help ensure consistent inventory and manufacturing controls. What you’ll do: - Maintain accurate standard costs for raw materials and finished goods - Analyze manufacturing variances and provide recommendations to improve cost efficiency - Support monthly close activities through journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis - Review bills of materials, production routes, and cost allocations for accuracy - Partner with production teams to evaluate direct and indirect costs - Prepare reporting that explains manufacturing performance, including spending and efficiency trends - Assist with budgeting, audits, and special projects as needed Wha...
