ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a QC Inspector, Fireproofing to join our team supporting the Uranium Processing Facility ! This position is full-time and will be based out of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Responsibilities: Perform inspection and testing of cementitious and intumescent fireproofing systems in accordance with project specifications, IBC requirements, and applicable ASTM standards. Conduct thickness, density, and adhesion/cohesion testing (e.g., ASTM E605, ASTM E736) and document results accurately. Inspect penetration and joint firestop systems to verify compliance with approved UL listings and project requirements. Review construction drawings, submittals, and manufacturer specifications to ensure proper installation and compliance. Coordinate with field personnel, subcontractors, and project management to address quality concerns and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Generate detailed inspection reports and maintain thorough quality documentation in accordance with project and NQA-1 requirements.
