Employment Law Solicitor / CILEX Lawyer

Job description

Job Purpose We are seeking a pragmatic and commercially minded Employment Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with litigaiton rights or working towards them to join our Home LEI team. The successful candidate will provide legal advice on employment law issues to internal stakeholders as well as directly to corporate clients and policyholders, particularly those covered under legal expenses or employment related products. Key Responsibilities: - Manage any employment law cases /disputes upon which the firm may be instructed, - Manage and handle any internal employment disputes – litigated and non-litigated – that may arise, - Participate in and provide support to an employment law legal helpline, providing advice and guidance to clients as and when required, - To ensure understanding and compliance with internal SLAs, policies and procedures, - To review employment policies/ practices across the firm, implementing any changes as and when needed, - To provide full supervisory support and guidance on technical issues involving matters of employment law, - To ensure any IT developments are appropriately implemented, - To provide employment law training across the firm as and when needed, - Ensur...
