(Hourly) Position Description: Immediate opening for Five (5) Temporary Laboratory Technician positions in the Price Institute of Surgical Research studying colorectal cancer and Inflammatory Bowel Disease. A successful candidate can assist research technicians and research fellows under general supervision, to execute a variety of routine and non-routine experiments at a professional level. Excellent organizational and communication skills and ability to work with a highly interactive group is required. Essential responsibilities include: Aid in the performance of routine and non-routine experiments, which are moderate. Tests may include those involving RNA and protein extractions, PCR, and other basic biochemical tests. Help transcribe and analyze data.
