Job Description The primary duties and responsibilities of the Molding Technician consist of, but are not limited to, the following: Start-up and troubleshooting of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. Maintain steady uninterrupted supply of colorant and material to the machines. Maintain foil supply on hot stamping equipment. Give breaks to other co-workers within dept. as necessary. Adjust and/or repair minor services on axillary equipment and machines. Troubleshoot equipment determines and recommends appropriate solutions to Maintenance personnel and Shift Supervisor. Must communicate with on-coming and off-going Mold Techs to give and receive specific instructions and quality information. Support and investigate situations in which line/equipment stoppage occurs due to perceived, imminent safety risk. Completes responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures, and applicable laws Work closely with all department staff to alert Shift Supervisor of any quality issues or conditions.
