Job description

Description: - Configuring, securing, and maintaining Windows and Linux test environments in support of NIWC Atlantic projects - Assisting in the management of project test beds and network devices, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of local test support infrastructure - Developing, updating, and executing system/software test plans, procedures, and test cases aligned with contract requirements, and stakeholder expectations - Maintaining and executing test plans and procedures supporting 30‑day security updates and other required software patches - Performing rigorous system‑level functional, regression, integration, and environmental testing to validate system behavior following updates and configuration changes - Reproducing, documenting, and troubleshooting issues encountered during testing - Working closely with software developers and systems engineers to diagnose root causes, verify fixes, and support timely resolution - Developing and maintaining SME‑level understanding of assigned systems, equipment, and software to support effective test design and execution - Supporting application of DoD cybersecurity requirements, including execution of approved...
