Job Description JOB: Sanitation Coordinator DEPARTMENT: Quality RATE OF PAY: 33.07: FLEXIBLE WORK WEEK: In addition to the following, employees are responsible for understanding the relevance and importance of the individual’s activities in contributing to food safety, and reporting situations that may impact food STATEMENT OF THE JOB: Under the direction of the Quality/Sanitation staff, these select positions will develop/maintain and audit all plant sanitation systems, sanitation procedures, new equipment sanitary installation practices, plant conditions and housekeeping. Coordinators must work closely with the production departments and corporate engineers to provide site sanitation processes. Position will be selected by an interview process. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Perform and track swabs (equipment, environmental, pathogen and special studies). 2. Perform scheduled audits and additional audits as needed. 3. Perform and track laydown, idle equipment, outside/grounds, pest control, period cleaning and roof inspections. 4.
