Overview NaphCare is hiring a full-time Licensed Mental Health Professional (LCSW, CPC, LMFT) to join our Jail Based Competency Treatment (JBCT) Program, THRIVE, that operates as a 30-bed adult competency to stand trial restoration and evaluation unit at Washoe County Detention Facility in Reno, NV. The Clinician will conduct psychosocial assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, evaluate treatment goals, and provide individual and group therapy using psychoeducation, evidenced-based therapies, coping and social skills building, and support to improve patients’ symptoms of mental illness and/or disability, functioning, and overall well-being. The ideal candidate has experience working with serious mental illness and/or in a correctional setting, and in working within a multidisciplinary team. THRIVE provides specialized behavioral health services for patients found incompetent to stand trial (IST) and have been remanded to inpatient restoration treatment. The unit is a therapeutic environment, providing intensive day treatment services.
