Job description

Job Summary: Receives, inspects, weighs, and counts incoming goods against purchase order and specifications. Verifies against order for correctness and condition. Shift Availability: - Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Duties/Responsibilities: - None - Receives, inspects, weighs and counts incoming goods against purchase order and specifications. Verifies against order for correctness and condition. - Ensures strict adherence to product specifications when receiving goods. - Completes appropriate receiving documentation. - Uses proper storage techniques to include proper rotation, dating and slotting of product. - Fills orders and issues supplies promptly upon receipt of approved requisition. - Delivers materials to the user department. Verifies correctness of order with receiving user department and obtains authorized signature on appropriate receiving record. - Prepares and maintains reports and records as required. - Responds to Purchasing’s and user department’s requests for returning products to vendors for repairs, credit, exchange, etc. - Participates in assigned inventories.
