Job description

Summary: The Health Educator will deliver evidenced-based programming with fidelity to youth in a variety of settings including afterschool programs and onsite and community-based organizations during times youth are not in school. The Health Educator will additionally engage program participants in activities designed to provide career exploration activities and arrange for trips to local cultural events. The Health Educator will provide parent education workshops with the goal of improving parent-child communication to support the development of positive health behaviors among youth including avoiding sexual activity Job Type: Full-Time: Salary: $24 - $26.23 per hour Sign On Bonus: $1500 (Conditions Apply) Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Completes orientation and trainings including mandatory on-line implementation training prior to delivering evidence-based programming. This training is available on the ACT for Youth website at www.actforyouth.net. Completes training for the specific evidence based programming, if defined by the model developer.
