Outpatient Certified Pharmacy Technician - Full-Time - Day

Schedule Full-Time: 40 Hours/Weekly: Pharmacy is open M-F 9am-8pm and Sat/Sun 9am-5pm. Expectation is 40 hours and will work every 3rd weekend. General Summary: Fills prescriptions, routine orders for medications and prepackaged pharmaceuticals and performs other related duties. Essential Functions: - Assists pharmacists as directed including filling orders and preparing labels. - Assists patient, taking prescription, necessary information, etc. Operates cash register. Delivers medications as needed. - Submits and receives orders from suppliers. - Enters and/or retrieves data from established computer files using knowledge of various computer software applications. - Assists with I.V. preparation and delivery. - Trains other employees in day to day procedures. - Participates in the performance evaluation process for Technician I and Driver. - Position shares responsibility with other team members for daily delivery of patient medications to a Script Center in Mt.
