Director of Engineering Last Mile Delivery and Gig Platform

Job description

Impact As a Director of Engineering for Shipt's Last Mile Delivery and Gig Platform, you will lead multiple teams of engineers and partner with Product, Data Science, and Operations teams to grow and scale the fulfillment of our Grocery and Package delivery businesses. You will manage, mentor, and develop engineers and engineering managers while overseeing technical design, implementation, and operation of these highly available solutions. You will establish a vision and roadmap to fulfill with speed, quality, and efficiency. This is a hybrid role that is based in one of our three office hubs: Birmingham, AL; Minneapolis, MN; or San Francisco, CA, so you need to be located near one of these to designate as your home office.
