Senior Mechanical Engineer - Atlas

Job description

We’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Atlas Platform Mechanical Team, with a specific focus on designing robot structures. Your designs will balance competing constraints including safety, durability, cost, design for assembly and service, and scalability. These components will leverage a wide range of materials and manufacturing methods producing components with complex surfaces and geometry. You will work across the entire robot collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver hardware that directly impacts Atlas’s ability to interact with the world. Navigating ambiguity, creative thinking, attention to detail, technical excellence, efficient communication, and a team-first collaborative mindset are key superpowers that will lead to success.
