Customer Quality Engineer

Job description

Position Overview: The Customer Quality Engineer oversees the qualification and maintenance of laser powder bed fusion metal 3D printers and qualification of RPS printed part production. The Customer Quality Engineer will work both independently and on teams with other engineers under the supervision of Quality management to put together project plans. The job functions will cover overseeing, driving and improving quality in manufacturing, supply chain and field service. Requirements: - Operate in the inspect, diagnose, and repair mindset. - Work closely with manufacturing, process, field service and quality teams to establish and maintain processes and procedures that will ensure consistently high quality. - Drive CAPA activity using established processes to determine the root cause of problems and drive for implementation of corrective actions and countermeasures. - Comprehend current production quality trends based on dashboards or from occurrences in the line. - Rapidly communicate emerging and trending quality issues. - Execute timely corrective action for quality mitigation and containment. - Collaborate with engineering teams to support investigation, containment, and execut...
