Cold Storage Warehouse Supervisor

Job description

This role assists with directing the workforce in the day-to-day management (inventory control, production, picking of orders, loading of semi-trailers, good manufacturing practices, health & safety, enforcement of company policies and enforcement of the collective bargaining agreement) of AE Dairy products. Ideal candidates must have the following personal attributes: - Leadership - Self-starter - Strong character - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) - Detail oriented - Ability to multi-task and prioritize Prerequisites: - Lean manufacturing principles - Policy enforcement - Logistics - Inventory management - MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) - AS400 (preferred but not necessary) - Time and attendance - A minimum of two (2) years of previous supervisory experience. - Build positive and trustful work relationships with leadership and workforce. - A bachelor's degree in business, engineering or a related field. The Company would give consideration for specific Supervisory experience in a refrigerated warehouse environment. - Ability to routinely lift 50 lbs., push/pull 900 lb. wheeled carts, climb steps and ladders. - Must be able to work in a refrigerated environmen...
