Job description
The Palletizer Operator tends to the automatic can palletizer to ensure continuous line production. Key Accountabilities: - Understands and complies with position related safety SOP’s and work instructions, especially for Lockout/Tagout, Machine Guarding, Housekeeping, SQF, and Personal Protective Equipment. - Comply with all plant and corporate safety policies and regulations and participate pro-actively in plant safety programs and initiatives, including online safety training and safety observations. - Comply with all plant and corporate Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). - Tends automatic can palletizer to ensure continuous line production. - Operate controls when necessary to restore machine to automatic status. Pull defective cans, upright-turned over cans, clear jams from palletizers, conveyors, runways, pallet or top frame dispensers. - Analyze inspection data and establish quality level and acceptability of product where limits are not clearly defined; to include understanding and identifying defective product in accordance with corporate and plant procedure. - Check layers of cans for full pattern pack, replacing missing or defective cans. -...
