This position is accountable for timely follow up on all outstanding insurance account receivables to include resolution of denials. Also responsible to review overpaid claims and process refunds as needed. - Answers questions from patients and third party payers regarding accounts - Ensures account balances are correct and balances are assigned to the appropriate insurance or patient bucket. - Reviews credit balance accounts and processes refunds for all patients as appropriate - Contacts patients regarding outstanding balances and assigns accounts to outside collection agency as needed - Provides patient cost estimates - Handles probate and bankruptcy filings - Assists with patient assistance claim submission and follow up - Assists with SDOH billing and documentation Nebraska Cancer Specialists offers GREAT benefits: - Monday through Friday, daytime hours. - Generous paid time off including holidays and your...
