Salary/Position Classification: - $17 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime) - 17.5-20 hours per week (M-F 7:30am-11:30am in a preschool classroom) - 100% Remote Work Availability: No - Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No Purpose of Position: This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. Duties & Responsibilities: - Under the supervision of the Center Director, Assistant Director and the ECE Services Supervisor II, the teacher assistant provides support to the ECE Services Supervisor II in the care and active supervision of children 18 months to age 12. - Assist the teacher in maintaining a developmentally appropriate classroom, including all children regardless of their abilities. - Assist, as directed by the classroom teacher, in maintaining a stimulating learning environment for children. - - Assist, as directed by the classroom teacher, in maintaining a rich and stimulating learning environment by meeting the enhanced requirements as described in Age-Appropriate Environmental Rating Scale, Edition 3 (required for Step 2 of ND Bright and Early) and a rating at least a 5 - Assist in maintainin...
