Department Overview The Nurse Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for pediatric primary care and specialty clinics at Doernbecher Children's Hospital, including Bethany Village, Marquam Hill, and Adolescent & Young Adult Medicine at CHH1. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient- and family-centered care, efficient clinic operations, and compliance with OHSU standards, policies, and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include oversight of day-to-day clinical operations, staff recruitment and development, quality improvement, financial performance, and patient access. The Nurse Manager collaborates with medical directors, ambulatory leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to drive operational excellence, enhance staff engagement, and achieve outcomes aligned with institutional goals. This position is responsible for multiple clinic sites and approximately 55 FTEs, ensuring consistent standards, performance, and service quality across all locations.
