GIS & Remote Sensing Specialist Location: Kelowna, BC: THE OPPORTUNITY: We are looking for a GIS & Remote Sensing Specialist to join our PRI team in our Kelowna location on a permanent full-time basis. Our preferred candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of related experience, and a post-secondary education from an accredited GIS program. RESPONSIBILITIES: QUALIFICATIONS: - Provide GIS & Remote Sensing support to internal departments & external customers. - Conduct simple to complex spatial analyses using both vector and raster data types to provide insights to planning, engineering, environmental and geotechnical project tasks. - Support design, configuration and mobile data capture processes using desktop, web, and mobile applications, including GPS technology and Drones. - Conduct data analysis, create maps and reports, and automate processes using programming languages such as R, SQL, Python, JavaScript, and ArcPy. - Collaborating with existing GIS and non-geospatial staff members across the company to assist in proj...
