Description Position Summary: Runners maintain clean workstations, stock plates both for use on the expo line and for all prep areas of the kitchen including pantry area and grill stations. This position requires consistent adherence to policies and procedures of the department as outlined in the Biltmore Standard Operating Procedures (BSOP’S). Responsibilities: - Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards. - Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended. - Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day. - Maintain positive guest relations at all times. - Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction. - Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas. - Check tickets coming to expo line for accuracy. - Organize orders so that all items to complete order are ready when order is put up. - Ensure that all items ordered are delivered to table respecting proper position numbers and female patrons. - Ensure that all items are delivered in a timely fashion.
